Texting the First Step towards a Date
Just imagine if, on the old television series “Star Trek”, they had used their ommunication devices as a dating tool. The storylines would probably be racier than what we remember. Although, even the commanding officer Jean Luc Picard would never get a date with the doctor Beverly until he bravely started texting to her to announce his spectacular interest. You have to remember that having a mobile dating service at your command does not mean you are going to get the dates unless you start actively pursuing your dating targets.
1. You, too, have to be brave as a captain when you decide to become a mobile dater. You have to take that first step on your own and get up the nerve to having a more brazen approach. If you have found a suitable dating partner, the time is now to make contact. If you delay, you could miss out on a great person who is later having coffee with somebody
else.
2. Do not turn a person off by text flirting with sexual undertones before you have met face to face. Not everyone is comfortable with a risqué comment as a conversation opener so keep the racy introductory text at a low level. Unless you want to be categorized as an “easy to get to know” person, keep the sexy text for when you know the person better.
3. Ask yourself “would the captain say or do this?” before you take action and you could appear more powerful than you are now.
